David Bowie died Sunday after battling cancer for 18 months. Two days before his death, he turned 69 and just released his latest album "Blackstar" and topped US and UK charts.
Bowie for me has always been this bigger than life musician. Growing up I did not know him for his music but because of the film Labyrinth (1986). I remember seeing him and was just awestruck. Who is this person? He's so beautiful... He truly was. As I grew up I began seeing him as this music icon that he was but for me and the child in me, he will always be Jareth, the Goblin King.
